While OIC focuses largely on acoustic seabed mapping systems such as sidescan and multibeam sonars, OIC supports data acquisition and processing for several non-acoustic sensors as well, including laser-linescan devices and electronic still cameras. For each of these, OIC software has been custom modified to provide control, raw data acquisition, and real-time processing.
