AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Software Engineer:

Oceanic Imaging Consultants, Inc is seeking applicants for two full-time/full benefits C++ programmer positions. The successful candidates will join our small team in Honolulu, developing advanced visualization and processing software for the seafloor mapping industry. The candidate must have excellent software development skills in OO/C++ to participate in the development of image processing algorithms, advanced Graphical User Interface and 2D/3D visualization tools for professional applications. Successful applicants must be comfortable developing high quality software in a team environment with minimal supervision. Local applicants preferred, but candidate willing to relocate at their own expense will be considered.

Minimum Requirements:

-      Bachelor in computer-science, engineering or related field.
-      At least 1 year of experience in Object-Oriented C++ programming
-      Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
-      Must be able to work in the US

Desired skills:

-      3D graphics experience ( OpenGL, OpenSceneGraph )
-      Qt GUI toolkit experience
-      Strong scientific background
